Unless you’ve been living off the grid this past week, you’ve probably seen the tiny mascot that crashed Apple’s MacBook Neo announcement. Nobody introduced him. Nobody named him. He just showed up in the corner of an Apple TikTok post, and the internet collectively lost its mind.

His name — at least what everyone’s calling him — is Lil Finder Guy. Short legs. Big energy. Zero explanation.
Here’s the thing about Lil Finder Guy: Apple has a long history of little mascots and icons that take on a life of their own — think the old Happy Mac, the original Finder icon, even the trash can.
But this feels different. He’s not a static icon on a menu bar. He’s a character. He has a face. He has a posture. He looks like he’s either about to help you find a file or absolutely ruin your afternoon, and honestly that energy is very on brand for macOS. The internet latched onto him immediately, and I completely understand why. There’s something special about a mascot that shows up unannounced with no backstory – you just project everything onto him. He’s a blank canvas with stubby little legs.
So I did what any reasonable person would do: I dropped everything and wanted to print it in 3D.

I printed him using Polymaker PolyLite PLA in Aqua Blue, Bambu PLA Basic in Cyan, and Black PLA. The color combo felt just right for a little guy born out of Apple’s aesthetic. He came out pretty great if I do say so myself.
The file is a 3MF, which is what my Bambu setup uses, but it should convert fine to whatever format your printer needs. I’ve uploaded it to MakerWorld if you want to print your own.
